An artificial urinary sphincter for incontinence from intrinsic sphincter deficiency, such as after prostate surgery. The smart reflex balloon senses intra-abdominal pressure changes and simultaneously adapts urethral pressure, so cuff occlusion pressure is no longer limited by the balloon labelled pressure.
